The specification of the mounting system for a solar photovoltaic system are determined by the roof structure, there are four primary categories of Solar PV Mounting System.

On-roof mounted:

This is a cheap, quick, and simple way of installing Solar PV Modules onto a pitched roof.  There are a large variety of manufacturers who provide this type of system for all roof covering types including slate, concrete tile, and trapezoidal steel fabricated roofs.

In-roof mounted:

In-roof mounted modules are mounted so that the panels are flush to the roof. This means that there are no protruding parts - the whole system is installed to be as discrete and as beautiful as possible. See our new and exciting range here

Flat or Ground mounted:

Using an A-Frame mounting system in order to maximise the output of a solar module on a flat roof or ground mounted system.  They are normally found on large commercial systems such as a solar farm or on projects for industrial buildings.you can choose to have them in the garden. They will work just as well, and the modules are angled so that they get the best amount of daylight.

The Solar Façade System

provides a solution to clients who wish to install PV Modules on a building with limited roof space.  The Solar Modules are mounted on the side of building structures.  This is a very attractive system but the cost is also high.
