The 12th of December deadline is growing closer - to be certain you gain the higher rate feed in tariff, we have contacted some of the big 6 energy suppliers and asked them what their cut off dates are;

EDF Energy - applications for the feed in tariff of 43.3p need to be received in full by 9th December 2011 for the customer to be eligible for the current feed in tariff - if there are any issues with the application form and EDF has to sent it back to the customer unfortunately they won't qualify for the 43.3p

Scottish Power - applications need to be received in full before or on 11th December 2011 - recorded delivery is advisable

NPower - applications need to be received in full by the NPower feed in tariff team no later than Midnight 11th December 2011, again any problems with the application and the customer won't qualify for the 43.3p

British Gas - cut off point for the receipt of applications is Midnight 11th December 2011, however the guy on the phone has advised that if the application is send via email to ring 0800 3161477 a couple of hours later to check whether the email has been received, if the application form is send in via post it is advised to send it recorded delivery and allow for 3-4 days for the delivery

Southern Electric - applications need to be received in full by Midnight 11th December 2011

Remember - the 11th is a Sunday, so to be certain, get your paperwork sent by the 8th to arrive on Friday the 9th December
