Environmental Policy

Cleaner Air Solutions UK Ltd (“CASUKL”) is a company recognised for playing it’s part in reducing not only our own company impact on the environment, but by the application of our core products, those of our clients also.
CASUKL wishes to be acknowledged as an industry leader in its approach to the care of the environment, in the execution of its projects and in its working practices. CASUKL’s objective is to ensure that continous development realises the desired financial returns whilst in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.

To achieve this, CASUKL’s objectives are to:-

Corporate
• Actively pursue a policy of promoting and implementing sustainable growth and development;
• Promote CASUKL’s environmental objectives and policy to all personnel, associates, contractors, suppliers and the public;
• Comply as a minimum, with legislation and associated codes of practice and, where reasonably practicable, improve on the performance standards they specify;
• Keep the relevant subsidiaries and departments informed of changes in legislation, technologies and methods research, which may affect them;
• Seek progressive improvement in environmental performance by measuring certain activities against both qualitative and quantative targets;
• Undertake regular environmental auditing of its activities and report on performance to key stakeholder groups;
• Create and develop the CASUKL-wide Environmental Management System to achieve certification to ISO 14001:2004.
• Ensure that materials acquisition procedures relating to environmental issues are identified and assessed.


Planning and Design
• Ensure environmental considerations are incorporated into the planning, specification and design process of all of our core business activities;
• Develop our systems design and installation methods so that it integrates with and enhances the surrounding natural and built environment.


Installation
•Adhere to the principles of best construction practice and good neighbourliness on all sites;

Resource Use
• Minimise the waste generated and encourage the appropriate re-use or recyling of materials as far as is practicable;
• Encourage the procurement of materials that are produced in a manner which causes the least impact on the environment;
• Investigate opportunities, and where appropriate implement measures, to ensure that natural resources are used efficiently.


Organisation
The environmental impacts are continously assessed and incorporated with the Health and Safety Advisors. The Managing Director/Commercial Director is the Head of our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Development.

This Corporate Environmental Policy is regularly reviewed and supported by a number of issue specific policies and procedures.
